A true American pop music icon, Valli’s incredible career as a solo artist and with The Four Seasons has produced 19 top ten hits and sold over 100 million records world wide. Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons are enjoying a renewed popularity and are packing concert halls coast to coast.
The Four Seasons, with lead singer Valli, became an instant sensation with the performance of their hit single “Sherry” on American Bandstand in 1962, selling 200,000 copies the day after. Over the next few years they followed with hit after hit including original songs “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Candy Girl,” and “Rag Doll” to name a few. Valli also scored top ten hits with the title track to the “Grease” soundtrack, and the single “December ’63 (Oh What a Night)”. In the words of Billy Joel, a longtime fan who grew up listening to them on Long Island, “The Four Seasons have wonderful chord progressions, beautiful writing, terrific production and fantastic harmony, records that really speak to us.”
Proceeds from this concert will help Girl’s Inc. expand and strengthen a wide variety of programs for girls ages 6 to 18.
